Ghana’s push toward industrialisation is gaining international attention, as Keda (Ghana) Company Limited deepens its export reach into the United States and Europe following a strong showing at Coverings 2026 in Las Vegas.

The event, one of North America’s largest trade exhibitions for ceramic tiles and natural stone, drew nearly 25,000 industry players from across the globe, including distributors, contractors, architects and developers.

Against this competitive backdrop, the Ghana-based manufacturer stood out as the only African exhibitor, marking its second consecutive appearance after making history with its debut last year.

Keda (Ghana)’s exhibition booth attracted significant interest from buyers and industry stakeholders, with its range of ceramic tiles featuring modern designs and high quality finishes, positioned to meet both American and European market standards.
Observers at the event pointed to the growing competitiveness of Ghana-made products, citing improvements in quality, production scale and pricing.
The company’s expanding presence abroad comes amid a broader national agenda to boost exports and industrial capacity. Its participation at the global expo coincides with ongoing investments to scale operations, including a new glass manufacturing project commissioned earlier this year.

During a visit to the facility in February, John Dramani Mahama commended the company’s contribution to Ghana’s export growth, highlighting its penetration into markets such as the United States, Italy and Spain. He noted that such ventures are critical to positioning Ghana as a manufacturing hub for high value goods within global supply chains.

As exports of ceramic products continue to rise, Keda (Ghana)’s performance on the global stage is being viewed as a bellwether for the country’s industrial ambitions, demonstrating how local manufacturing firms can transition from domestic dominance to international relevance.
