President John Dramani Mahama has approved appointments and reassignments as part of a reorganisation of the National Security Council Secretariat.
The approved appointments include:
"Major (Rtd.) General William Ayamdo, former Chief of Army Staff, is appointed Deputy National Security Coordinator (Operations).
"Mr. Yaw Donkor, former National Security Coordinator, is appointed Director of Intelligence and Research at the Office of the National Security Advisor.
"Mr. Adamu Saaka is appointed Director of Logistics and Transport.
"Ms. Faustina Effah-Boadi is appointed Officer in Charge of the Human Security Department.
"DCOP (Rtd.) Peter Ndekugri is appointed Officer in Charge of the Special Investigations Unit.
"ACP Alhassan Osman is reassigned to the Ghana Police Service for further deployment."
In a statement signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, MP, Spokesperson to the President and Minister of Government Communications, the Presidency said the appointments and reassignments take immediate effect.
