The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has commenced a three-day Documentation and Body Selection Exercise for qualified applicants under its 2026/2027 enlistment process.
The exercise runs from Monday, September 28 to Wednesday, September 30, 2026, following the closure of the online application process on September 23. Qualified applicants are being processed at designated centres in the Northern and Southern sectors as part of the next stage of the recruitment exercise.
The GAF said applicants who have progressed to this stage will receive text messages containing details of their assigned centres, reporting dates and other instructions.
Applicants who receive the notifications have been urged to report to their designated centres on the specified dates and strictly follow the instructions issued by the Armed Forces.
For the Northern Sector, the exercise is being conducted at the 4 Infantry Battalion, Uaddara Barracks, Kumasi. Applicants assigned to the Southern Sector are required to report to the Nicholson Stadium at the Air Force Base, Accra.
The Documentation and Body Selection Exercise involves the verification of applicants’ documents and physical assessment as part of the GAF’s recruitment process. The Armed Forces has previously identified documentation and body selection as an early screening stage before subsequent assessments.
The GAF has therefore advised qualified applicants to pay close attention to their text messages and ensure they report to the correct centres at the specified times.
The exercise forms part of the Armed Forces’ ongoing process of selecting eligible candidates for the 2026/2027 Enlistment Exercise.
