The Vice‑President of the Republic of Ghana, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman, has assured the people of Kete‑Krachi in the Oti Region of substantial development.
According to the Vice‑President, the Krachi Traditional Area will surely get its share of the national cake. She called on Nananom and the people of Krachi to unite and place their trust in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government led by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.
Prof. Naana Opoku Agyeman made these remarks during the 25th anniversary of Krachiwura Nana Mprah Bɛsɛmuna III in Kete‑Krachi.
"Nana, your ability to unite chiefs both within and outside the Oti Region is... a symbol of ...and mutual respect which is wealthy of a relation.
"As we celebrate this 25 year journey, let us look at hurts with renew determination, let us committ ourselves to building stronger competitions... communities and more prosperous Ghana," she stated.
The Paramount Chief of Atabubu, Dr Yeboah Asiamah, who chaired the Krachiwura 25th anniversary, called for unity among chiefs to foster development in Krachi and its environs.
