The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the release of application status updates for candidates who applied under the 2026 teacher recruitment exercise, advancing the nationwide recruitment process.
According to the Service, applicants can now check the status of their applications through the official recruitment portal based on their respective recruitment categories.
GES said application status for Pre-secondary (Early Childhood and Primary) applicants and Secondary (Junior High and Senior High) applicants became available on Friday, July 24, 2026.
The Service urged all applicants to log on to the recruitment portal at the scheduled time for their category to verify the outcome of their applications.
In a statement signed by Daniel Fenyi, Head of Public Relations, GES thanked applicants for their patience and cooperation throughout the recruitment process.
The release of application status marks another key phase in the 2026 teacher recruitment exercise as successful candidates await the next stages of the selection and appointment process.
Applicants are advised to regularly monitor the recruitment portal and official GES communication channels for further updates and instructions regarding the exercise.
