A 20-year-old University of Cape Coast student, identified as Innocentia Avinu, has been found dead at Hutchland Beach near the UCC campus days after she was reported missing.
Her body was discovered along the shoreline, reportedly with one breast removed, prompting concerns that the killing may be linked to ritual activity.
According her Friends, Innocentia told them she planned to meet a wealthy man and also mentioned meeting “a certain boy” shortly before she disappeared.
Police have opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of her death and whether foul play or ritual motives were involved.
