Ghana Water Limited has announced a temporary disruption in water supply across parts of Western Accra due to technical challenges.
In a statement, management explained that the Weija Water Treatment Plant is currently experiencing faults affecting water production and distribution.
As a result, customers in several areas are likely to experience erratic flow and low water pressure.
The affected communities include Dansoman, Mamprobi, Mataheko, Laterbiokorshie, Korle-Bu, La Paz, MacCarthy Hill, Gbawe, Mallam, Tesano, Darkuman, North Kaneshie, Dome, Achimota, Anyaa, Ablekuma, and surrounding areas.
Ghana Water assured the public that engineers and technical teams are working diligently to resolve the issue and restore normal supply as soon as possible.
They also urged consumers to store water whenever it becomes available to help manage the temporary disruption.
