Ghanaian music producer Ricky Nana Agyemang, widely known as Bullet, has categorically dismissed allegations connecting him to occult practices, asserting that his success is a product of hard work and his faith in Jesus Christ.
In an interview with Nana Romeo on UTV’s Atoo, Bullet questioned why some individuals would believe he is involved in occultism. He highlighted that the nature of his work and the significant effort required to thrive in the music industry directly contradict such claims.
“Have you seen an occultist who takes loans or hustles hard before? Those saying I’m an occultist, do they even know what occult is?” he inquired during the interview.
The RuffTown Records CEO noted that the allegations intensified following the death of the late Ghanaian musician Ebony Reigns, which ignited widespread media controversies.
Bullet accused certain media outlets of attempting to portray him as having a romantic relationship with the late singer and as misusing her finances.
“When Ebony died, the controversies surrounding it were just too much. The media wanted to brand me as sleeping with Ebony and spending her money, so I’m not surprised they’re adding this,” he stated.
Bullet emphasised that he is a devout Christian, deeply rooted in his faith, and would never engage in occult practices.
“The only person I believe in is Jesus Christ. I’m not saying this because I want someone to trust me. If I die today, I will go to heaven. I know the kind of heart I have,” he affirmed.
He further insisted that his commitment to hard work remains his primary focus as he continues to pursue his ambitions in the music industry.
Bullet also contended that if he were indeed involved in occultism, both he and his artists would not face the constant criticism they receive on social media.
“If I were part of the occult, they would have shielded me and protected my artistes. I’m the only label where my artistes get bullied the most on the internet,” he concluded.
