Shatta Wale has blamed ShattaFest UK organisers for the event’s chaos, claiming he warned his team that poor planning could attract police intervention.

In a video shared on X, the musician said he warned members of his team, including his wife, that the organisation of the event could lead to intervention by UK authorities.

“I told my team, including my wife, that the police would come around because of the way this guy was organising the event,” Shatta Wale said.

He claimed the decision to combine ShattaFest UK with Ghana Party in the Park was motivated by “greed” and contributed to the confusion that occurred.

“Whenever I say greed, it makes people do things and later they ask, ‘How did this happen?’ It was greed,” he alleged, adding that organisers wanted to merge both events for future advantage.

The artiste also expressed disappointment that members of his official team were unable to travel to the UK despite prior arrangements.

“You didn't bring any of my team here. I only came with my wife. The other people weren't here,” he said.

Shatta Wale said improved planning, crowd management and better communication could have prevented the situation, arguing that the venue and event arrangements should have been properly prepared before his performance.

Despite his criticism of the organisers, he praised the UK police, paramedics, local council and emergency responders for their intervention.

“I thank the UK police, the paramedics, the council and everybody who stopped the show,” he said, adding that the decision may have prevented a more serious incident.

ShattaFest UK was cancelled after chaotic scenes outside the venue, with Shatta Wale’s management expressing concern over reports of injuries and alleged fatalities while urging the public to avoid speculation until official investigations are completed.

UK authorities are yet to release their full findings into the incident.
