Afrobeats superstar Davido has disclosed that if he had not built a successful career in music, he would have ventured into the media and entertainment industry.
Speaking in an interview with Vibe Magazine, the award-winning singer opened up about his long-standing passion for entertainment, explaining that his love for the industry began at a young age and would have influenced his career path regardless of whether he became a musician.
According to Davido, he could see himself working in journalism, radio, or even owning a media company if music had not become his profession.
"If I wasn't doing like, music, if I wasn't singing like fully, I'll be doing something media, whether journalism or have like a radio or have like a media house," he highlighted.
Davido noted that entertainment has always been central to his interests and ambitions, making it impossible for him to completely distance himself from the industry.
"Because I've always loved entertainment since I was young, entertainment was like at the forefront of everything I was thinking about. So if I wasn't doing music, I know that I will be doing entertainment," he stated.
