By: Emmanuel Bekoe

Ashanti Regional NDC Secretary hopeful Daniel Baah Acheamfour has backed Kwaku Ebbi Dankwah, popularly known as Nana KED, in his bid to become Aowin Constituency Chairman.

Acheamfour expressed his support during a recent visit to Enchi in the Aowin Constituency of the Western North Region to participate in the launch of Nana KED’s campaign.

During his visit, Acheamfour engaged residents and party supporters on Trickie FM, where he spoke about President John Dramani Mahama's record and the NDC’s mandate. He later addressed NDC members at the campaign launch, urging them to rally behind Nana KED and support his bid to lead the party at the constituency level.

Acheamfour said Nana KED’s campaign had received an encouraging response from party members and the wider community, highlighting the enthusiasm he witnessed during his visit.

He also acknowledged the presence and support of Aowin Member of Parliament, Hon. Oscar Ofori Larbi, and the warm reception from the constituency. “The love and enthusiasm shown by Nana KED, the Member of Parliament, Hon. Oscar Ofori Larbi and the people of Aowin were truly overwhelming,” Acheamfour said.

Nana KED’s campaign comes as the NDC prepares for its internal constituency-level elections, with aspirants seeking various positions within the party’s organisational structure.

Acheamfour, who is seeking the position of Ashanti Regional NDC Secretary, wished the people of Aowin success and expressed appreciation for their hospitality during his visit.

The engagement forms part of his wider outreach to NDC members as he seeks support for his own bid to serve as the party’s Ashanti Regional Secretary.
