Kweku Smoke to headline major UK show at Electric Brixton

Ghanaian rap artist Kweku Smoke is set to headline a major concert in the United Kingdom as he broadens his international reach.

The event, titled Kweku Smoke Live, will take place at Electric Brixton, one of South London’s foremost live-music venues. The venue accommodates up to 1,700 for club nights and around 1,500 for concerts, and has garnered a reputation for staging world-class performers.

Formerly known as The Fridge, it underwent a £1 million refurbishment before reopening as Electric Brixton and has since hosted legends such as Soul II Soul and Grace Jones.

Kweku Smoke’s emergence in the music industry has been striking. He attracted widespread attention in 2024 with his album Kweku Jesus, followed by Born in Hell later that year.

His achievements were recognised in 2025 when he secured his first wins at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

In the same year, he made a powerful impression in London during the 20th anniversary of Party in the Park, delivering a performance widely acclaimed as one of the most electrifying of the evening.

Renowned for his intense delivery, chant-driven rap style and candid storytelling that captures both hardship and triumph, Kweku Smoke has remained a steady presence on the charts. His most recent release, Walk With Me, continues to connect with listeners.

The London concert is scheduled for Friday, May 29, 2026 and is strictly for those aged 18 and over. Tickets are available via myticket.co.uk.

Following two successful consecutive Revival concerts in Accra, Kweku Smoke’s decision to headline his own show in London underlines his progression and commitment to establishing himself on the international stage.
