What in the name of Kwame Nkrumah (our founder who gave Ghana so much pride both locally and internationally), am I seeing this morning on social media?
That some low-class man who says he is a Russian, came to Ghana, did secret recordings of himself and some of our Ghanaian ladies, and then went further to publish same (largely on social media).
My further checks suggest that this Russian guy claims to have some explicit videos on his telegram page and that a person need to pay 80 dollars before he or she can watch.
This is absurdity in the highest order.
The law enforcers should with immediate effect cause the arrest of this person for further investigation, (ref: sections 67 and 68 of the Cyber Security Act 2020 (Act 1038).
I am a bit disappointed particularly in the women advocacy groups in this country, including the Ministry of Gender, for not being seen as leading a war against this barbaric act.
Note: I am not interested in the moral conversations and accusations on our Ghanaian ladies. I leave that to themselves and their conscience.
I am speaking only on matters of law.
