The Ghana Police Service has assured applicants that its 2025/2026 recruitment exercise is proceeding as planned, with successful candidates being invited in batches for document validation at designated centres nationwide.

In a statement issued by the Public Affairs Directorate at Police Headquarters on Friday, 1 August 2026, the Service said the ongoing validation exercise is designed to verify applicants' academic certificates, examination results and other documents submitted during the earlier stages of the recruitment process.

According to the Service, the first batch of successful applicants has already been invited and is currently undergoing the validation process.

The Police clarified that applicants who completed the medical examination and were declared medically fit but are yet to receive validation invitations should not be alarmed. It explained that such applicants remain within the recruitment pool and will be considered in subsequent batches.

The Service urged affected applicants to exercise patience, stressing that the recruitment exercise will continue in phases until 2028 in line with the approved recruitment schedule.

The statement also warned applicants to disregard misinformation about the recruitment process and cautioned them against paying money to individuals claiming they could secure recruitment opportunities.

The Ghana Police Service reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a transparent, fair and credible recruitment exercise and advised applicants and the general public to rely solely on official communication from the Service for updates.
