Polling Station forms process smooth, incident-free – Berekum East NPP Chairman

The Chairman of the Berekum East Constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has expressed commendation for the procedures involved in the sale and submission of forms for the upcoming NPP Polling Station Executives elections, describing these processes as successful.

Addressing the media, Chairman Kwaku Kankam stated that all measures implemented from the national to the regional level to guide the filing and submission of forms were diligently followed by the constituency executives.

He noted that these measures ensured a peaceful process, free from disorder, and expressed optimism for a successful election of Polling Station Executives to strengthen the party’s foundation.

He added that the process was conducted with transparency, leading him to confidently believe that challenges regarding applicants would not arise in the Berekum East Constituency.

“The procedures from the National and Regional level that at the constituency level and polling station we should work with it, to me it has been very good and it has made the exercise very successful.

“During the sales of forms we did not hear noise from anywhere and during the collection of the forms too we didn't hear any noise it means that everything is okay. We're hoping that during the process of the election, everything go on successful.”

Mr. Agyei Amankwaa, the Berekum East Constituency Secretary for the NPP, revealed that the registration exercise began in March 2026, during which party albums were made available to interested individuals who qualified to contest in the polling station executive elections.

He stated that the process had proceeded smoothly and had attracted numerous individuals to join and meet their membership obligations, particularly in Berekum.

Mr. Amankwaa stressed that the NPP must remain resolute in its preparations for the 2028 elections to reclaim the seat conceded to the NDC during the 2024 elections.
