A 35-year-old Fulani herdsman, Abdul Rahman, has died, while another is in critical condition.
A third suspect is also on the run following a violent confrontation at Gomoa Kweikrom in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
Reports indicate that the incident followed a heated argument between the individuals.
During the altercation, one suspect allegedly pulled out a cutlass and fatally attacked Abdul Rahman. In retaliation, another person also attacked the assailant with a cutlass, leaving him in critical condition.
Reports further state that a third suspect fled the scene when police arrived.
The injured victim has since been rushed to the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for treatment.
Police at Gomoa Ojobi have confirmed the incident and have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the confrontation.
In an interview with Joseph Egyir, a resident, he said, "one suspect died on the spot, another is in critical condition, and the third suspect escaped before the police arrived."
