Two died, five injured as Fire Service responds to road accident at Third Ridge Junction in CapeCoast

Two people have died and five others sustained injuries following a road accident at Third Ridge Junction on Tuesday, April, 28, 2026 on the Accra–Cape Coast Highway.

According to the Fire Service, they rescued victims who involved in a collision between Toyota Corolla and a tipper truck, disclosing that the Corolla driver was trapped and later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) noted that all casualties were taken to Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, urging drivers to exercise caution and patience on the road.
