A young man identified as Daniel Agyei, popularly known as “Friday,” has reportedly lost his life under tragic circumstances at Akyem Old Tafo in Ghana’s Eastern Region.

The incident occurred on Saturday, April 25, 2026, following an earlier altercation involving a mobile phone.

According to preliminary reports, the deceased was believed to have fallen asleep with his mobile phone placed on his chest while it was plugged in and charging.
