The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Jinapor, has assured the public that the government is working, through all relevant sector agencies, to restore operations with effective agency action and coordination.

Speaking at the Government Accountability Series on Monday, April 27, 2026, he emphasised that the government and his ministry have been working hard and remain determined to restore operations to ensure energy stability in Ghana.

“Let me assure you that the government, working through all relevant sector agencies, have responded with urgency and coordination to restore operations; it is been hard work, it is been determination,” he stated.

He added that engineers have been working on various sites for three consecutive days without even leaving, tackling extreme and difficult conditions to restore operational stability.

He further assured the public that the ministry will do whatever it can to resolve any issues in the sector and guarantee energy stability in the country.

“Our engineers have since remained on sites, some of them have stayed there for three continues days without leaving sites working around the clock under very very extreme and difficult conditions to restore operations,” he uttered.
