A communications team member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Joyce Owusua Barfi Esq, has revealed that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) lacks ideas for sustaining energy.
According to her, the current NDC administration led by John Dramani Mahama must learn from former President Akufo-Addo on how he kept the lights on for eight years.
In a recent interview, she emphasised that the NDC lacks the necessary skills and knowledge to sustain power, stating that they cannot claim that constant power outages are merely a replacement of transformers.
"Which transformers replacement will call for this, these are absolute lies they promised Ghanaians that 'dumsor' will be over when they were voted in power."
"I think that they lack the necessary skills and knowledge to keep the light on, they should go and learn from Akufo-Addo how he could keep the light on for good 8 years here in Ghana," she stated during an interview on GHone Tv.
She added that citizens have been disappointed by the numerous promises made to Ghanaians, arguing that the NDC has failed to deliver.
Mrs Owusu Barfi highlighted that the party promised to end 'dumsor', stating that power outages would not come again; however, Ghanaians have not experienced consistent power, not even a single day, since the NDC resumed office.
"Honestly a lots of people have been disappointed, they came with gargantuan promises which they can't even accomplish just a single one they promised that 'dumsor' is over, within the last 16 months we have not experience consistent light," she said.
