The Ghana Police Service has arrested three additional suspects in connection with the daylight armed robbery at a jewellery shop in Adabraka, Greater Accra Region.
In a statement released on Tuesday, 20 January 2026, the suspects were identified as Fatao Mohammed, also known as Motorway; Nashiru Abubakari, also known as Soldier; and Sadick Abubakar Satire, also known as 50 Cent. They were apprehended on January 19, 2026.
"The three are believed to be the main gang leaders of the robbery syndicate," the statement revealed.
With these arrests, the total number of suspects apprehended in connection with this incident now stands at seven.
It is worth recalling that on November 2, 2024, a daylight armed robbery took place at the jewellery shop in Adabraka, during which an amount of GH¢7.5 million was stolen.
The Ghana Police Service has assured the public that investigations into the robbery at the Adabraka Gold Jewellery Shop are ongoing and reiterated its commitment to bringing all individuals involved to face the full rigours of the law.
