Central Regional Police Command has arrested a 40-year-old man, Samuel Bills Acquah, in connection with the alleged assault of a 30-year-old woman in Cape Coast.
According to the statement released, the Police received a report on March 27 at 9:30 pm that suspect Samuel Bills Acquah had assaulted the woman with whom he has a child, at Bakano, Cape Coast.
The statement further affirmed that police proceeded to the crime scene upon receipt of the report and arrested the suspect.
The statement, which was released and signed by Isaac Evans Ettie, Chief Inspector, Public Affairs Unit/CR, revealed that the suspect is currently in police custody assisting with the investigation.
It also assured that the suspect, Samuel Bills Acquah, will be arraigned before court on March 30, 2026, for prosecution.
