Ama Daaku condemns Headmaster's dismissive attitude towards CID boss

A special aide to Dr Bawumia, Ellen Ama Daako, has condemned the headmaster of the Swedru School of Business (Swesbus) for his dismissive attitude during a recent visit from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) boss.

This condemnation follows an incident where Swesbus students assaulted their peers from Obrachire Senior High Technical School (Ostech), culminating in an attack where one student was stoned.

In a recent interview, Ama Daaku emphasised that the headmaster’s laughter in the face of serious allegations was deeply inappropriate.

She noted that the gravity of the situation should have been evident, particularly given that the CID boss and her team were present to conduct an investigation.

"I honestly took offence at the attitude of the headmaster, I was so angry. Seriously you have a whole CID boss moved to come to your school, should tell you the gravity of the situation, and she is asking you and you are laughing," she stated during an interview on GHone TV's.

Ama Daaku highlighted the distress experienced by parents who witnessed a video circulating of their child being treated with such disregard, as if he were a criminal. She asserted that the headmaster’s behaviour was unacceptable and not reflective of the seriousness of the situation.

"By next year my son will be at school, imagine I am sitting at home then all of a sudden a video starts circulating and my son is being pelted with stones. What has the boy done?" she questioned.

She also commended the CID boss and her team for their diligent efforts in addressing the matter properly.
