The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended heartfelt Ramadan greetings to Muslims in Ghana and across the globe.
In its message, the party wished the Muslim Ummah strength, good health, and abundant blessings during this sacred month of fasting, prayer, and reflection.
"It is also a time that reminds us of the enduring values of compassion, humility, generosity, discipline, and peaceful coexistence, virtues that are essential to national unity and development," it stated.
The NDC acknowledged and deeply appreciates the significant contributions of the Muslim community to Ghana's democratic journey, social cohesion, and economic growth.
Furthermore, the party emphasised that their continuous prayers for peace, stability, and prosperity for the nation remain invaluable.
The statement reaffirmed that as the country embarks on this spiritual journey, their prayer is that Allah grants them strength, good health, and abundant blessings.
"May this holy month renew our collective commitment to justice, inclusiveness, and the building of a more united and compassionate Ghana," the statement said.
Additionally, the NDC revealed that it remains steadfast in its commitment to championing policies and programmes that promote equality, opportunity, and improved livelihoods for all, regardless of religious or ethnic background.
"We wish the entire Muslim Ummah a peaceful, rewarding, and blessed Ramadan. Ramadan Mubarak," it concluded.
This statement was released on Thursday, 19 February, and signed by General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey.
