The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) has acknowledged Mr Seidu Agongo’s partnership in the distribution of 10,000 sewing machines to young people and women across Ghana.

NEIP said the initiative is intended to equip beneficiaries with practical tools to develop their skills, establish sustainable livelihoods and participate more meaningfully in the country’s economic growth.

The programme described the intervention as part of efforts to create an environment where the talent, ambition and creativity of Ghana’s youth can translate into productive economic opportunities.

According to NEIP, access to the sewing machines will help beneficiaries strengthen their vocational skills while supporting their efforts to achieve greater economic independence.

The programme expressed appreciation to Mr Agongo for his contribution, saying partnerships of this nature are important to building an ecosystem in which skills can be developed and sustainable livelihoods created.

“Together, we are equipping our people with the tools to innovate, achieve independence, and contribute meaningfully to Ghana’s economic growth,” NEIP said.

The initiative targets both youth and women across the country, with the distribution of 10,000 sewing machines positioned as a practical intervention to support entrepreneurship and skills-based livelihoods.

NEIP said its broader focus remains on supporting Ghanaian entrepreneurs and young people with opportunities and resources that can help turn their abilities and ideas into sustainable economic activity.
