The New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Youth Wing of the New Juaben South Constituency in the Eastern Region, on Monday, September 21, 2026, marked Ghana’s Founders’ Day with a clean-up exercise at Zongo Community D in Koforidua.

The programme, led by Youth Organizer Andy Akuffo and the entire constituency youth wing, brought together young people and party faithfuls for a day of community service.

The exercise was climaxed with a kenkey party to further highlight the group's unity and fellowship.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement as participants joined the clean-up exercise and later gathered for the kenkey party, creating an opportunity for the youth and party faithfuls to further interact and celebrate together.

According to the organizers, this initiative will not be a one-off event, as they plan to organize similar activities every two weeks across all 34 Electoral Areas in the New Juaben South Constituency.

The Member of Parliament for New Juaben South Constituency, Michael Okyere Kofi Baafi, was also in attendance to support the initiative.

The organisers restated their commitment to make the initiative an avenue to promote "community cleanliness, youth participation, and stronger engagement" between the Youth Wing and communities across the constituency.
