Prince Daniel, 12, has been confirmed as the youngest student currently enrolled at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), after footage posted on TikTok on September 19, 2026, showed him arriving on campus with his father and elder brother to begin tertiary studies.
According to the videos, Prince Daniel sat the West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and achieved strong results, with his lowest grade reported as a C.
The clips capture the family’s celebration and the boy’s preparation to commence university-level study at an age when most peers in Ghana remain in primary or junior secondary school.
The achievement also extends a unique family record: Prince Daniel reportedly surpassed his elder brother, who joined UEW previous year at age 13 and at the time was the youngest student at the institution. Reports indicate, the family has produced UEW’s youngest student for two consecutive years.
When asked what inspired him to reach tertiary education so early, Prince Daniel attributed his success to God. The videos show supportive family presence as he arrives on campus, underscoring the role his family has played in his educational journey.
