Some church members of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo have said they are not aware of any court injunction seeking to halt the final funeral rites of the founder and leader of Kristo Asafo Mission.

The funeral rites are currently underway at Gomoa Mpota in the Gomoa Central District of the Central Region, despite reports that a High Court injunction was issued yesterday seeking to stop the arrangements.

Sympathisers, family members and church congregants from branches across the country have gathered at the funeral grounds to mourn and pay their final respects to the late Apostle.

Speaking to some church members and funeral attendees, reporters were told they had not been made aware of any injunction preventing the funeral from proceeding.

According to them, they intend to continue with the funeral arrangements and have called on the public to join them in honouring and celebrating the life and legacy of the late Apostle Kojo Safo Kantanka.

They further urged the public to disregard reports of an injunction, insisting that they had not received any official communication directing them to suspend the funeral activities.

"Ghanaians everywhere who were aiming that the final funeral rites will not on, today, Kantanka, our leader his funeral rites is happening life, whether you like it or not it'll come off.

"I urged all Ghanaians at home that they should come and support us to pay our father Apostle Kwadwo Safo last respect because he has done a lot for us," some church members expressed.
