Akim Oda Member of Parliament, Alexander Akwasi Acquah, has emerged among Ghana’s top-performing legislators in the June 2026 Global InfoAnalytics MP Performance Survey, ranking within the top 10 with an 83% approval rating.

The survey, which assessed public perceptions of MPs’ performance across 83 constituencies, placed Akim Oda among lawmakers who received the strongest positive ratings from constituents nationwide.

According to Global InfoAnalytics, 83% of respondents in the Akim Oda constituency rated the MP’s performance as Excellent, Very Good or Good, while 11% described his performance as average. Only 3% rated his performance as poor or very poor, with another 3% expressing no opinion.

Akim Oda’s score placed him tenth in the national ranking, joining other high-performing MPs including Nsawam/Adoagyiri’s Frank Annoh-Dompreh, who topped the list with 98%, Tolon and Tain with 94% each, Navrongo Central with 93%, and Offinso North with 91%.

Other MPs who featured among the top performers were Kpando and Tano North with 88%, Twifo Atti Morkwa with 86%, and Old Tafo with 85%.

The ranking highlights growing public attention on parliamentary performance, with constituents increasingly assessing their representatives based on visibility, advocacy, responsiveness and contribution to local development.

The Global InfoAnalytics survey also revealed significant variations in public perception across constituencies, with Asene/Manso/Akroso recording the lowest positive rating at 9%, followed by Takoradi (13%), Bosomtwe (15%) and Achiase (16%).

Global InfoAnalytics said the survey forms part of its continued tracking of public perceptions of parliamentary performance across Ghana.
