With preparations underway for the March 3 by-election, six aspirants have officially submitted their nomination forms to contest the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primary in the Ayawaso East Constituency.
The candidates include Mohammed Ramme, the NDC’s Ayawaso East Constituency Chairman, Hajia Amina Adam, the widow of the late Member of Parliament.
Baba Jamal, Ghana’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, and Dr Yakubu Azindow.
Additionally, Najib Mohammed Sani and Salam Daru are also in the running, bringing the total number of contenders seeking the party’s endorsement to six.
