Korle-Bu Doctors calls strike, OPD Services to resume May 5

The Korle-Bu Doctors Association (KODA) has announced the suspension of the strike action it embarked on earlier today.

The association entreated its members to resume Out-Patient Department (OPD) services from Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

In a statement, the association said the decision follows a management meeting aimed at ensuring that laboratory physicians return to their posts.

KODA also emphasised that the peaceful coexistence of laboratory physicians and medical laboratory scientists at the Central Laboratory is essential for delivering quality healthcare.
